Huge Superstar Shake Up News Spoiled By Summerslam Tickets
Ticket sales for this year’s Summerslam event in August has already begun. And a couple of fans who have purchased the tickets took to reddit to show off the pictures of said tickets. The two tickets with promotional pictures for the event seem to be showing separate brands within the WWE.
The Heart of the Matter
The picture, as uploaded to the Squared Circle subreddit, on the left shows the Raw Roster which contains Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. But with Reigns and Strowman are current Smackdown superstars The Usos, Naomi, Charlotte and Shinsuke Nakamura. Also, newcomer Ronda Rousey is also present in the Raw branded ticket.
Meanwhile the picture on the right which apparently has the Smackdown Roster contains The New Day, Randy Orton and AJ Styles. And with them are Sasha Banks, Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins. Also, and this is no surprise, none of the superstars on the tickets are holding any Championships. AJ, Charlotte and Usos are all missing their championships in the pictures.
What does it mean?
Considering this is what speculation has been, and both pictures represent both brands, this potentially spoils the upcoming Superstar Shakeup and we get a clear idea about who is switching to which brand. Also, the fact Shinsuke Nakamura has been advertised on Raw side of things could mean he will go on to lose to AJ Styles at Wrestlemania. WWE might also swap the World Titles around like they did with the Intercontinental and US titles last year. But this of course means Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar moving to Smackdown. That is highly unlikely as Reigns is shown as a part of Raw and Lesnar’s contract expires post Mania. A third person could be involved who beats Lesnar for the title instead of Reigns but that seems really unlikely as only 3 men from the Elimination Chamber match are shown on the tickets and Seth Rollins is the only one on the Smackdown side and it is highly unlikely for him to beat Lesnar at Mania. Although WWE might go with a triple threat drawing similarity to how Rollins cashed in during the first Reigns-Lesnar bout at Wrestlemania 31.
