Match- 3rd T20I
Series-India Tour Of South Africa, 2017-18
Date-Saturday, February 24
Time-9:30 PM IST
Venue-Newlands, Cape Town
They would be upbeat after a victorious second T20I.With a series win in mind, they would not like to tinker with their team combination for the final T20I.If South Africa, field two spinners in the form of Tabraiz Shamsi& Aaron Phangiso, then Dane Paterson would most probably make way for the latter.
South Africa (Predicted XI): 1 Reeza Hendricks, 2 JJ Smuts, 3 JP Duminy (capt), 4 David Miller, 5 FarhaanBehardien, 6 Heinrich Klaasen (wk), 7 AndilePhehlukwayo, 8 Chris Morris, 9 Junior Dala, 10.Tabraiz Shamsi, 11 Dane Paterson/Aaron Phangiso
India,on the other hand woud’ve experimented with their team had they won the game at Supersport Park. But now, they will field the best possible XI that they feel would win them the series. Jasprit Bumrah, who was out with an abdominal niggle, if fit, will come back for Shardul Thakur. Rest of the XI might remain the same but it would be interesting to find out whether India would pick Kuldeep for Chahal, if at all the former gets match fit, or stick with Chahal, the man with best bowling figures and worst, after the last game, in T20I’s for India.
India (Predicted XI): 1 Rohit Sharma, 2 Shikhar Dhawan, 3 Suresh Raina, 4 ViratKohli (capt), 5 Manish Pandey, 6 MS Dhoni (wk), 7 Hardik Pandya, 8 Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 9 Jaydev Unadkat, 10 Yuzvendra Chahal/Kuldeep Yadav, 11 Jasprit Bumrah/Shardul Thakur

Virat Kohli needs 17 runs to become the first Indian to score 2000 T20I runs
This is the final showdown to what is a historic tour. The tour which began on a great note for South Africa turned on its head when India defeated them in the third test and the successive ODI Series. The T20I series too, seemed to go in India’s favour until SA staged a strong comeback to come out victorious in the second game and are raring to go in the third T20I, what they call a “Final”.
On the other hand, onus would be on Virat Kohli to lead the team to another historical win in a tour that has seen history rewritten by the Men in Blue, winning their first test match & ODI series respectively in South Africa. They’d be the happier team going home after this tour even if they lose the final game. But India, under Virat Kohli, as they’ve shown, have been undeterred by losses and have always comeback stronger and would be seething to finish this tour on a high by making history.
