●The two contrasting halves:
Football is a game of two halves and this game turned out to be exactly lie that as Manchester united were the poor side in the first half. But attacking flairs in the second half made the fans forget the miserable first half.
Palalce started the game with a real intent to do a job on the opponents and they got their reward quite deservedly through Townsends’ deflected shot. But words and changes from Jose done the trick to switch on Manchester united as they powered through the second half.
●Wasteful Pogba and Alexis:
After the excellent display against Chelsea at the weekend fans expected another pogba show but this time the Frenchman failed miserably as he was awful in the first half. Lost the ball in the middle of the park few times and surprisingly left his passing boots at the dressing room as his long range passes were wasteful too.
Sanchez left Arsenal but it seems that his frustration will take a bit more time to leave his mind as he couldn’t control the ball with his first touch throughout the whole match.
Though these two elites played decent in the send half but it was nothing compared to their original caliber.
●Super Benteke even without a goal:
He struggled to get his goals this season and made the fans frustrated along with himself but last night he bullied Smalling and lindelof and won the hearts of the fans with his work ethic performance.
Benteke provided the assist for Andros Townsend’s deflected first.
He then won the free-kick from which Jeffrey Schlupp sent Patrick van Aanholt clear to score the second.
Overall he gave his all but couldn’t score because of an outstanding save from David De Gea.

Matic scored his first goal for United and it was worth the wait. A thunderous volley from 30 yards out won the game for Manchester united as he hits it intentionally to spin away from the goalkeeper. It was a stunner worthy of winning any football match. Not only the goal but also his gigantic presence in the mid field helped united to exploit the wings much more in the second half.
●Jose’s positive subs:
After the miserable first half it was Jose mourinho’s subs that triggered the comeback for united as rashford mata and luke shaw gave the team more balnce and allowed to put the pressure on the palace defenders.
It was masterstroke by jose, who now can prepare the team for coming weekends big game against Liverpool.
