Team News:

India

‘Men in Blue’ have done nothing wrong since their first loss in the first match of the tournament as it was an eye-opener for them. Shikhar Dhawan is in good form and the skipper Rohit Sharma needs one big innings to get going and end up the dry-run. Suresh Raina seems to be fit and he is contributing to the team in every way possible, be with his aggressive batting skills or his athletic fielding or even with his part-time offspin Bowling. However he must ensure that he should not be throwing away his wicket after getting a good start and would be needed to build upon it. With Manish Pandey and Dinesh Karthik performing well in last match, there is no woes for Indian middle order. Team management is likely to stick with KL Rahul, who was out hit wicket in the previous match. He has the capability of playing match winning innings on his day but has to make sure that today is his day. Bowling looks skilled. With Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur are amongst the wickets, others must ensure that there is enough pressure applied at the other end. India will look to qualify for the finals with a win over Bangladesh in style.

Bangladesh

Bangladesh, after a series of defeats, found a win when they stunned Sri Lanka on Saturday by recording fourth-highest successful run-chase in T20I history. Promotion of Litton Das and a brilliant innings from Mushfiqur Rahim helped them win and it lifted their spirits. However, they needed to be more consistent and they must uplift their game in every aspects to beat India. Meanwhile, Bangladesh is still searching for it’s win over India in T20Is. Can they pull off another upset on Wednesday to make the tournament wide open is an interesting thing to see.
