In this new age of technology when problems of anxiety and depression are spreading like a forest fire amidst people, Yoga has come to the aid of masses. Performing certain Yoga Asanas not only is advantageous for our mind but also for our tiresome bodies.
Entire World celebrated the fourth International Yoga Day on 21st June. Several famous personalities from political leaders like Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal to Bollywood celebs like Shilpa Shetty and Bipasha Basu posted their pics performing different Yoga Asanas.
Mohammad Kaif, the former Indian Cricketer also took to twitter and posted a pic of himself performing Supta Vajrasan. He also mentioned the advantages of this Asana and how our body and mind benefits from it. He wrote,”Yoga doesn’t just make the body flexible, but also our mind and emotions. His tweet wasn’t taken lightly by the Muslim fraternity and most of them advised him to practice Namaz five times daily rather than practising Yoga for health as most of them believed it was an unIslamic act. This wasn’t the first incident when the former cricketer was trolled. In 2016, he carried out Surya Namaskar, due to which he had to face harsh tweets from the Twitterati.
Later on, the Right-handed batsman gave a befitting reply to the trollers saying that he can’t find any relation between practicing exercise and religion.
