Aizawl FC, the champions of the 2016-17 edition of I-League are in preparatory mood for the upcoming Mizoram Premier League under their new Head Coach Gift Raikhan. After a problem-struck season last time, the Mizo outfit is determined to leave a prominent mark again this season.
As per our sources, Aizawl is all set to rope in a new midfielder from Mali. Amadou Alou Sissoko is in all probability going to don the red jersey of Aizawl FC in the MPL. 23-Year old Sissoko can play both as Central Midfielder and Attacking Midfielder and might be deployed behind Edeh Chidi who is scheduled to arrive later this month according to Aizawl officials.
Amadou Alou Sissoko has represented the U-20 side of Mali and has played in clubs like Centre Salif Keita Bamako and Makedonija Gjorce Petrov. He last played for AS FAR of Morocco.
The NOC has already arrived from the Moroccan club and only formalities are remaining after which the signing of the player will be officially announced.
