unnamed 5 - Mino Raiola Takes A Dig At Paul Scholes On Paul Pogba Issue

Paul Pogba’s relationship with Manchester United took another strange turn on Tuesday when his agent Mino Raiola claimed club legend Paul Scholes ‘wouldn’t recognise a leader if he was in front of Sir Winston Churchill’.

Scholes was critical of Pogba’s role in United’s dismal 3-2 defeat at Brighton and Hove Albion, with the former midfielder labelling Pogba ‘so inconsistent’ and ‘very poor’ at the Amex Stadium.

In an outburst on Twitter, Raiola also said Scholes ‘should become Sports Director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba’ and that he would have few ‘sleepless nights to find Pogba a new club’.

World Cup winner Pogba captained United to victory against Leicester in the first game of the season, but said after the match: “There are things I can say and there are things I cannot say… otherwise I will get fined.”

Pogba re-signed for United in 2016 for £89 million, but has since become a lightening rod for criticism amid reports of a troubled relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.
As things stand the situation of Paul Pogba at United does not look good and there’s a dense cloud of mystery about his future at Old Trafford.
