
Kerala, a state in India has been in an atrocious and dreadful state due to the catastrophic floods which struck them a few days ago. Football associations from all around the world have come forward with a tremendous amount of support for all those who have been affected by this.

Italian giants AS Roma along with many teams such as FC Barcelona, FC Girona, SD Eibar, Liverpool and even the Spanish association La Liga have come out on social media and have been vocal about their support for all those who have suffered in this natural disaster.
It all started on 20th of August with a tweet by AS Roma which said “The thoughts of everyone at #ASRoma are with those affected by the floods that have caused so much devastation in #Kerala. We’re in touch with the authorities to see what support we can offer.”

Three days later, the champions league semi-finalists have issued a statement saying that the Serie A side would be auctioning off five shirts from their first team players worn by them during their first home match of Serie A which is on 28th of August against Atlanta.
