SQUAD ANALYSIS:

With an all new team Jaipur Pink Panthers are training hard every day to give their best in this season. Having some of the best experienced campaigners in the side, Jaipur team is strong and well balanced. Under the captaincy of captain cool, Anup Kumar who has played 78 matches and grabbed 546 points in last 5 seasons. Anup has an ability to grab those bonus and points in Do or Die raids through his quick toe touches. He also has 13 super 10’s, 15 super raids, and has 57 tackle points with 8 super tackles. The young player Selvamani can make a good combination with Anup. The defense of Jaipur in this season does not look to be dependable. They have Mohit Chiller on right corner who had an amazing last season of PKL and Bajirao Hodage, the right cover of the team did not have a good season 5. The left corner has Sandeep Dhull who is a reasonable performer at the position. The master of super tackles, fourth most successful defender in Vivo Pro Kabaddi, the diving thigh hold specialist, Mohit is the X-factor of defense. All-rounders Deepak Nivas Hooda and Nitin Rawal can be good support for Jaipur’s defense this season and they cannot bank on Bajirao in defense. The main key players for Jaipur is Deepak Nivas Hooda and Nitin Rawal. If Anup and Mohit can get the right support from those two all-rounders then Jaipur is a team to beat this season.

RATING :

Raiding – 8/10
Defense – 7/10
All-rounders – 8/10
Overall – 7.5/10

PREVIOUS YEAR PERFORMANCE :

Jaipur had an average performance last year with just 8 wins in 22 games. But the interesting point is in this season is Jaipur franchise being completely reformed and looks like new package of star players and is the team to watch out for. The captain cool Anup Kumar having great numbers in raiding department with 546 points overall in 78 matches, does he keep his cool attitude this season? On the right corner, Mohit Chiller, versatile defender who has an ability to anchor any defense stands like a wall for the team has 216 points in 77 matches with 17 high 5’s. The all-rounders Deepak and Nitin are the momentum keepers for this season for Jaipur.

AUTHOR’S TAKE :

Having key experienced, Jaipur seems to be a team to watch out for. Especially the Captain cool Anup Kumar having great responsibility of leading the team now ahead throughout the season. There are promising all-rounders in Jaipur franchise. Deepak Nivas Hooda and Nitin Rawal in the side will give their side a confidence. In the right corner, Mohit Chiller is a solid wall with his diving thigh holds and an awesome super tackle specialist. In the Left corner Sandeep Dhull is another promising defender of the side but not playing any match last season, we should look forward how he carries his momentum in the side. Although overall, if the players are on, then Jaipur is a team to beat for other teams.
