After the nerve wracking draw in the second ODI against West Indies, with India leading 1-0 in 2 matches with 3 remaining games to battle for in the series, the selectors have opted safety first approach to bring in two of India’s major frontline bowlers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah for remaining three games.
Mohammed Shami being the suprise exclusion after his terrific death bowling display in Vizag to keep West Indians away from the chase. Selectors also opted out Kedar Jadhav who scored an unbeaten 41 off 25 for India A against India C in the Deodhar Trophy.
