John Cena has been missing from WWE since making some live event appearances in China. So is leaving the company to pursue an acting career?
John Cena is a 16-time WWE Champion and one of company’s biggest stars (if not the biggest). He has done everything that is there to do in professional wrestling (except perform in the indies). Michael Cole even calls him the greatest wrestler in WWE history and many don’t even doubt it due to his accomplishments. But the “Champ” has now started to have a part-time schedule and miss a lot of shows due to his budding Hollywood career. So naturally the rumours started twirling out about his status in the company or is he done with WWE.
Cena has now made it clear he is never going to leave WWE even when he will be super busy. Cena told Chris Van Vliet: “Performing in a WWE realm is unbelievable because it is that thrill of improvisational storytelling.
You can listen to the immediate response and change your story to cater to the people who are in the building.
“An audience in Miami isn’t gonna be the same as Chicago, isn’t gonna be the same as Montreal and Montreal the last time isn’t gonna be the same as this time.
“That’s what I love about it, that’s why I’ll never leave it.
“That’s why I got a month to myself and I’m going to do live events. Because I can’t get away from it, I love it,” Cena clarified.
John Cena wrestled in a televised match against the Undertaker at WrestleMania 34. His last televised appearance was when had a match against Triple H at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. Now Cena returns to action for a live event on December 26 and is scheduled to appear in various non-televised RAW and Smackdown house shows during the holiday period.
But his only televised appearance will take place on Monday Night RAW on January 7 in Orlando, Florida. But we expect that is the start of a run which goes on till WrestleMania 35.
