Arsenal are being heavily linked with a sensational big-budget move for unhappy Colombian James Rodriquez.
Speculation is mounting that the Premier League club have had a £63 million offer ACCEPTED for the Bayern Munich star.
Liverpool are interested too but it is understood the Premier League leaders have yet to make an offer.
Reports out of Germany say they will not stand in his way.
Rodriquez signed a two-year loan from Real Madrid in July 2017 and it appears he is not needed back in Spain. The 27-year-old has struggled for form and with injuries this season.
Manchester United are long-term admirers but the claim doesn’t put the manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the frame to bring him to Old Trafford. Juventus, they say, are very keen.
Arsenal are said to be in the driving seat and Unai Emery is keen to add to his squad.
Any move would raise more questions about Mesut Ozil’s future, the £350,000 a week star already failing to hold down a place in the side.
