Sir Alex Ferguson told Jose Mourinho to use this player as much as possible and give him as many starts as possible to flourish. But Scott McTominay has remained unlucky at Old Trafford till now as neither under Mourinho nor under Solskjaer he has got adequate game-time.
The talented Scott who plays mainly as a central-midfielder made only three starts in Premier League and came on as a sub in four matches and failed make himself an integral part of the first XI. Having fallen short of the managers’ favour at Manchester, McTominay is now considering a move away from Old Trafford for acquiring more game time.
According to several reports, some English and Scottish clubs are interested for the 23-year old midfielder who is currently warming the bench at Manchester United.
United management initially shunned all these offers regarding the player but is now considering the possibility of sending the player on a loan move so that he can get more match time. Now it remains to be seen whether Scottish international shifts to any new address in this January.
