The Manchester United midfielder wants to set himself the target of earning 200 more appearances for the Manchester United club.

Juan Mata wants to play football until he becomes 40 years old and he said he idolises Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs.

The Spaniard is now in 30 years old and has played a prominent part of United since he left Chelsea back in 2014. Mata who has made 21 appearances and scored five goals in all competitions for United this season is in his sixth campaign at Old Trafford.

Ryan Giggs helds the record of representing the Red Devils a staggering 963 times and has won every trophy possible in his club career becoming the most decorated British player in the history of football. Currently he is associated with the Wales national team as Manager.

Juan Mata has opened a restaurant in Manchester with his father and loves living in the city which shows that the Spanish international has long term plans with United.
