Chelsea In Rush To Make The Higuain Deal Done
Gonzalo Higuain will be flying to London tonight ahead of his move to Chelsea according to sources.
The 31-year-old is on loan at AC Milan from Juventus but the Argentinian will be joining Chelsea as Juventus has accepted the loan deal from Chelsea.
Higuain has been in great form for AC Milan, he netted six from fifteen games for the Italian giants and has been an inspiration in thier squad.
This move will make a reunion for Higuain and his former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are reported to be in a rush to finalise the signing as the Blues want to feature the Argentine against Tottenham on Thursday night.
Earlier today AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso expressed his openion in an interview he said: “I accept his decision. Surely he could have done more and maybe we could have helped him fit in better.”
The addition of Higuain will be a great boost for Chelsea, he will bring in much needed experience pace and calmness to the London side’s attack and might be replacing struggling Alvaro Morata in the starting eleven.
