Jamshedpur FC’s Spanish medio Carlos Calvo has been handed a suspension by the AIFF Disciplinary Committee yesterday. The winger cum forward from the Red Miners’ brigade have been found guilty on the ground of making racial remarks during ISL campaign which is considered to be a serious allegation.
Calvo made his debut in the ISL with Jamshedpur FC this season as he joined the “Furnace” on August 2018, till then he has been a permanent name in the coach’s starting eleven. This Winger cum forward has made 12 appearances till now for JFC with one goal each against Chennaiyin FC and Kerala Blasters.
The detailed conditions regarding this suspension is yet to be known along with the situation or incident that particularly lead the discipline maintaining body to take this step.
The Spaniard has been suspended for 3 matches of ISL and also handed a fine of INR 2 lacs.
