Kerala Blasters headcoach Nelo Vingada came out and thrashed his squad for poor performance against Delhi Dynamos.
Kerala Blasters’ misery continues as on Thursday night they yet again had to suffer another loss, this time in the hands of Delhi Dynamos. Now the men in yellow are running through one of the worst stages of their tenure since their inception where they haven’t tasted victory since last 13 matches.
Blasters’ newly appointed Portuguese coach was not happy at his team’s performance and also did not hesitate to criticise his team in the post match press-conference,
“It was a very disappointing result. It is always disappointing when we lose. But more than that, very disappointing performance, especially in the first 45 minutes. I cannot understand. For the first 45 minutes, we gave them the advantage. They were much better than us in the first half. In the second half, our attitude was much better”, Vingada said. “I think it wasn’t a tactical (superiority). It was our problem. We lost the ball not because Delhi were organied, it was because our players were playing without concentration. We missed a lot of passes. We are always arriving one or two seconds delayed. We were much better in the second half.”, the former NEUFC Head Coach added.
Blasters were looking exhausted and unmotivated throughout the match and a smart play by Delhi helped them clinch the three points, there were few great moves by blasters which might had the potential to turnaround the scenario but the men in yellow were lacking that quality in final stages and eere able to find the right pass inside the box.
Delhi on the other hand were flying high as they were helped by Blasters players who had more misspasses than the later one, Gianni Zuiverloon and Vingada scored for Delhi and sealed the victory at thier home ground.
