There were rumours of Real Kashmir winger Surchandra Singh probably joining Mumbai City FC for the upcoming season and TalkSports 24X7 can confirm that the player has already struck a deal with the Mumbai based franchise as disclosed to us by the player himself.
The Islanders seem to be one of the most active teams in making new signings this time as they bring in another young promising Indian player from the I-League debutants Real Kashmir FC. This 25 year old midfielder from Manipur made his mark in the I-League while playing for DSK Shivajians in the 2015-16 season. Surchandra has previously played for Churchill Brothers and Mohun Bagan before having a terrific season as a winger for the debutants Snow leopards as he scored three goals and assisted thrice out of his thirteen appearances for Real Kashmir FC.
Singh naturally used to be a box to box midfielder but his new stint as a winger under Scottish coach David Robertson took him to new heights. This addition will definitely boost Costa’s Mumbai brigade as some swift yet versatile action along the flanks is expected from this youngster.
