Indian U 17 World Cup star goal keeper Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem is all set to join ATK, Talk Sports 24×7 can confirm. The Manipur born 18 year old Indian national who featured in the ISL for Kerala Blasters FC last season has signed in a landmark five year long contract with the Kolkata based ISL franchise.

Dheeraj rose to fame after his terrific performance in the 2017 U-17 world Cup followed by his club level performance for the Indian Arrows as he continued to keep clean sheets in the domestic league. The young gun is still in his teens has already gone through a trial camp at Motherwell FC and gained a lot of appreciation from the officials there. Dheeraj also made a mark with KBFC as he was the youngest first XI goal keeper of any team in ISL history as the then gaffer David James kept faith on the teen’s safe hands under the post.
On the other hand ATK has loaned out their second choice goal keeper Debjit Majumder for the upcoming season creating a void under the post. Thus Dheeraj seems to be the man to fulfil the spot for Antonio Lopez Habbas as ATK is desperate to regain their lost glory.
