The Ugandan scoring machine Henry Kisekka is all set to ply his trade for his former club Gokulam Kerala FC in the forthcoming I-League season TalkSports 24X7 can confirm.
Henry Kisekka is a 29-year-old striker who used to play for the Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan. In February 2018, the Ugandan first came to India to play for Gokulam Kerala. He came in as a replacement for the legendary Odafa Okolie. Ironically, he netted his first goal against his current club, Mohun Bagan and guided his side to victory. He had a good time in Kerala having scored 7 goals in 9 appearances.
Kisekkka’s robust persona and consistency on the field attracted the fellow I-League giants, Mohun Bagan. He went on to score 11 goals in 27 appearances for the Mariners throughout the season. However, on 4th March 2019, he was handed a release letter from the club.
Ever since Henry left the sailing boat, he seems to prepare himself to become the god’s own footballer for the second time.
Gokulam Kerala failed to have a praiseworthy season in the last edition of the Hero I-League. They finished 9th on the table ahead of Minerva Punjab FC and Shillong Lajong FC.
